Mulberry:

  • Go to File --> Preferences then select the Attachments tab
  • Select Receiving
  • Choose the following options: "View it", "Ask for Location", "Ask User", and "Include Text Attachments"

Novell: Novell has not yet released a client. We recommend waiting to install Vista until after the new client is released.

Oracle Calendar:

  • Oracle Calendar clients seem to work, but are not certified for use with Vista. If you want to experiment with Oracle Calendar on Vista, keep the following points in mind:
  • Oracle Calendar requires a new .ini file to function.
    1. Download UNISON.INI to your PC.
In some browsers, you may need to right click the above link and choose "Save target as..."
    2. After installing Oracle Calendar, copy the INI file you downloaded in step 1 to:
      C:\Program Files\Oracle\Calendar
    3. If you previously installed and attempted to run Oracle Calendar, you also will need to copy the INI file to:
      C:\Users\YourOakID\AppData\Roaming\Oracle\Calendar
*Replace "YourOakID" with your actual Oak ID.
  • Attempting to add attachments to a meeting will cause the Oracle Calendar client to crash and close.
  • Exporting to a .vcs file in any location other than the default will cause Oracle Calendar to crash.

PhotoShop 8: Must launch as administrator during first use, afterwards program functions normally.

Roxio EZ Media Creator v9: Drag-to-Disc feature does not work and will cause an error message at system startup. To avoid this, uninstall this feature.

  • Choose Default Programs
  • Click on "Associate a file type or protocol with a program"
  • Scroll down to MP3
  • Select .mp3 file extension and click on "Change Program" button
  • Choose WinAmp from window that opens
