In addition to software troubleshooting, the OIT Service Desk offers repair and upgrade services for:
- Computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and most other computer peripherals
- Hard drives, motherboards, power supplies, and RAM
- Overhead Projectors
- RGB Projectors
- VCRs
- PA Systems
- IBM/Lenovo
We also are a factory-authorized warranty repair center for Dell, Gateway, HP
and IBM/Lenovo computers and all Apple products.

Equipment can be dropped off at either the OIT office, 112 Baker Center
or the OIT Technology Showcase,

, during our normal walk-in hours.
For in-office repair visits, faculty and staff may submit a work
order/trouble report by calling 740-593-1222.
University-owned residence hall computers, printers and monitors
should not be removed from student rooms. Please call 740-593-1222 to request a repair visit.
If you do not wish to carry a piece of broken, personally owned
equipment to one of our drop-off locations, you may call 740-593-1222 to request pick-up/drop-off service. Pick-up/drop-off costs $10 in addition to any parts and labor charges.
Rates:
Equipment repairs are $30 per hour (1 hour minimum charge), unless a repair is covered by a Dell, Gateway, IBM/Lenovo or Apple warranty, in which case there is no charge for labor. Most software troubleshooting services are free.
