Off-Campus
Ohio University offers two options for faculty, staff and students to access the campus network and the Internet from home: Ethernet and DialNet. Off campus Ethernet currently is available only in the University Courtyard apartment complex. DialNet is available in any location with a telephone line. Several local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) also provide modem and/or broadband access; however, you will be unable to access Ohio University-licensed services such as on-line journals and research databases from a non-University ISP.
