OS X Mail Secure Configurations

NOTE: OS X Mail has problems using secure connections in POP mode. If you plan to use OS X Mail with Oak, we recommend using IMAP mode.

  1. Open the Mail Program in OS X.
  2. Click on Mail and select Preferences. (The Preferences window appears.)

  3. Highlight your account, click "Edit".

  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Place a check mark in the "Use SSL" box.

  6. Click OK, close the "Mail Preferences window".
