PGP Installation Guide

To add PGP to the Mulberry email client:

  1. Download the PGP Freeware
    • A license agreement must be made with Network Associates, Inc.
    • Get PGP via MIT (click here!)

  2. Install the PGP Freeware
    • Download file is called PGPFW658Win32 for Win
    • Select network adapter card
    • Answer No to "Use Existing Keyrings?"
    • Reboot your computer

  3. Setup your public/private key
    • Right click the Padlock icon in your system tray
    • Generate public/private key

  4. Send your public key to everyone that wants to send you encrypted email
    • Create an email draft
    • Open your keyring (right-click the padlock in the system tray)
    • Drag and drop your public key from your PGP keyring to the Mulberry draft

  5. Add public keys for everyone that you want to send encrypted email
    • Obtain a public key via a floppy disk and drag to your keyring
    • Or open an email, highlight entire message and drag to your keyring
