PGP Installation
Guide
To add PGP to the Mulberry email client:
- Download the PGP Freeware
- A license agreement must be made with Network
Associates, Inc.
- Get PGP via MIT (click here!)
- Install the PGP Freeware
- Download file is called PGPFW658Win32 for Win
- Select network adapter card
- Answer No to "Use Existing Keyrings?"
- Reboot your computer
- Setup your public/private key
- Right click the
Padlock icon in your system tray
- Generate public/private key
- Send your public key to everyone that wants to send you
encrypted email
- Create an email draft
- Open your keyring (right-click the padlock in the
system tray)
- Drag and drop your public key from your PGP keyring to the
Mulberry draft
- Add public keys for everyone that you want to send encrypted
email
- Obtain a public key via a floppy disk and drag to your
keyring
- Or open an email, highlight entire message and drag to your
keyring
