Oracle Calendar offers a variety of user interfaces making it a platform-independent tool that allows groups to communicate and collaborate efficiently. Oracle Calendar has a flexible security system, called Access Rights, that allows you to define who can access your calendar and how much they can access it. For example, you can give some users rights to view all of your calendar entries, while giving other users rights to view your busy times but not what you're doing. You also can assign a Designate, or someone authorized to work on your calendar just as you do.
Oracle Calendar is fully supported by the OIT Service Desk (740-593-1222) and is freely available to all employees at the University.
